1 // Job-Search Tracker + MCP Server

jobwyre

A purpose-built job-search tracker: a Kanban board that moves each application through your pipeline, plus timezone-aware interview scheduling with calendar-app sync and email reminders before every interview. A documented REST API and a built-in MCP server let Claude, Codex, or any AI assistant log applications, interviews, and offers on your behalf. Live today, freemium via Stripe, built and run solo.

2 // Adaptive Learning System (M.Sc. Thesis)

CogniFlex

An LLM-driven adaptive learning system from my M.Sc. thesis. It restructures a lesson's content to each learner's profile (segmentation, language, examples, scaffolding), and turns their interactions with an exercise into personalized feedback and hints. Grounded in Cognitive Load Theory; evaluated with 10 didactic experts in a cybersecurity-education context.

3 // Corporate Training

Digital Learning Platforms

Interactive training formats for a corporate learning platform, used by clients to onboard and upskill employees across multiple subject areas. A reusable, scalable component library adopted across formats cut new-module development time and kept the UI consistent, with rendering optimized for smooth playback across desktop and mobile. The adaptive learning feature from the M.Sc. thesis (CogniFlex) was built on top of this platform.

9aa208dMay 2021–Mar 2026

Frontend Developer

Didactic Innovations GmbH

Led the migration of the company's e-learning platforms from legacy WordPress modules to a scalable web platform built with React and Material UI. Architected the platform in TypeScript so a single reusable system could carry text, image, video, and custom interactive exercises. Built and maintained a Vite-based component library adopted across 15+ client modules, applying clean-code practices and consistent design patterns to cut development time and keep the UI consistent. Designed and shipped an LLM-integrated adaptive learning feature (CogniFlex) with a UX-focused interface (Zustand, React hooks, and Context API for state), developed alongside an M.Sc. thesis in collaboration with the company. Guided the team through a multi-year, Agile/Scrum migration to a modern React stack and supported the cross-team rollout of the new architecture.

Frontend Developer (Student Assistant)

Didactic Innovations GmbH

Proposed and led the shift from a third-party slide-selling tool to a self-built WordPress platform for learning module development. Built five e-learning modules for clients as custom WordPress plugins, owning the platform end-to-end from format design through plugin development and content delivery.

9cd15b0Oct 2017–Mar 2018

Junior Developer

Tech Hive

Developed a WordPress-based online store handling payments, order management, product listings, and inventory tracking, working directly with clients to scope features and ship production-ready e-commerce functionality on a small team.

# About

Frontend developer in Saarbrücken, a decade in the field. JavaScript through the early WordPress years, React from around 2020, TypeScript the last five.

Most of that time went into one company's e-learning platform: rebuilding it off legacy WordPress onto a single TypeScript system that every content format is built from, with a shared Vite component library underneath it.

A few of my own products are live too, and I take them past the frontend when I have to. jobwyre has a public REST API and an MCP server that let AI assistants use it directly; Record Book is a PWA running on infrastructure I set up and keep online myself. My M.Sc. thesis put an LLM inside a working adaptive-learning feature, which meant a year of deciding when a model's output was good enough to ship.

I build AI-assisted day to day and stay skeptical of what comes back. I care about code the next person can read and interfaces that don't waste anyone's time. Right now I'm looking for a frontend role with real product ownership, the kind where you follow a feature all the way out rather than hand off at the API.
